What data we collect
When you subscribe to our newsletter we collect the following information:
- Email address — required to deliver reports.
- First name and last name — used to personalise the emails we send.
- Company name — optional; collected if you provide it.
- Language preference — the language you select when subscribing, stored as a contact attribute (
LANGUAGE) so reports are delivered in your chosen language. - Region — auto-detected from your browser's locale or selected by you, stored as a contact attribute (
REGION) so price data is relevant to your market.
We also collect limited technical data automatically when you visit the site:
- Visit count — stored in your browser's
localStorage(not transmitted to us) to determine when to show the subscription prompt. - Region detection — derived locally in your browser from your language settings; not sent to a third-party geolocation service.
- Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, referring URL) retained for up to 30 days for security and performance purposes.
